 In a partnership with Africa University, UCC has registered a new nonwoven mosquito blanket which will be distributed worldwide in 2010.
Our nonwoven blanket is treated with a proprietary substance that has been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other national/international agencies, that repels mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and/or midges at kill and knockdown rates in accordance with internationally established standards for long-lasting insecticides.
In addition to repelling insects, our nonwoven blankets are made with Polyester fibers, allowing them to repel water as well as resist the growth of bacteria and viruses. Their unique nonwoven structure creates a barrier to help shield adults and children from rain, strong winds, and harsh sun rays.
